Reflection

At first, I became tense in presentation, but finally, I could more relax in presentation . I have not done presentation, so I could learn many things from this class. Before, it was not easy to speak English in front of others and I didn't speak well. But now, I can speak English better than before. I have not done a blog and I didn't like to do this. However, I could enjoy blog after all.

PUT: What is PUT?

Hi! We will introduce you about PUT. We will tell you what is put, an aim of the PUT program, difference between advanced PUT and PUT and difference of PUT between schools.

I will tell you what is PUT. PUT is a class which three students and a native teacher discuss about various topics for 45 minutes.

Homework is updated every weeks on the moodle and you must prepare it before the class. There is a homework which you must read a newspaper about every two weeks. You will ask questions about the topic of newspaper in the class.
Teachers are always changed each PUT classes. So you can speak with different teachers.

Now, PUT is held in 4th floor of building 7 but before, it was held in the library.

Education Systems

Hi! We researched education and we’re going to talk about education systems, language school, situation of class and difference of choosing university between Japan and America.

I will introduce system differences of university between America and Japan.

American university starts in September but Japanese university starts in April.

In America, universities refer to GPA or SAT when you will enter the university, but in Japan, there is entrance examination.

There is a system which is called drop in America. In this system, you can cancel the lecture which you take, but in Japan you can’t.

In America, if you are a superior student, you can take the class of a graduate school. But you must keep good result or you will have to leave the school.

The Day of the Dead Festival

I’m going to introduce the Day of the Dead Festival. It starts on October 31 and finishes on November 2 in Mexico.

People wear the costume of a skeleton or dead person.

They enjoy parties in the graveyard until morning.

Many skeletons’ goods like these are sold.

For example masks, dolls, chocolates and so on.

We will introduce more goods later.

This is bread which is called ‘Bread of dead person’. This is essential for the Day of the Dead Festival. Sometimes people eat this bread after finish the Day of the Dead Festival.

The Statue of Liberty

I will talk about history of the Statue of Liberty.


This statue was designed by Frederic Bartholdi in 1874 and this is Frederic Bartholdi.

The Statue of Liberty was modeled Marrianne who is a symbol of France.

As soon as it was completed in 1886, the French government gave it to the American government as a cerebration of 100 years since America had become independent. This indicates the friendship between America and France.

In 1966, it was regarded as a National Register. Later in 1984, the Statue of Liberty was registered as a World Heritage.

Parque Espana

I will introduce you to attractions. I especially recommend you five attractions.

At first is Pyrenees. It is roller coasters. Its height is 45 meters and maximum speed is 100 km/h. If you like a roller coaster, you should ride it.

Next is Splash Montserrat.

Splash Monserrat is a water ride and slip off from the top of Mt. Monserrat.

These pictures are Adventure Lagoon and Swing Santa Maria. Adventure Lagoon is a attraction which bord on a ship. You can see many monsters and characters. You will be taken old castle escaping the attack of pirates. Swing Santa Maria is a viking. Your body is risen a moment. Once you ride this attraction, you will want to ride again. These attractions are full of thrills.

After you enjoy thrills, how about riding on Fiesta Train? It goes round the Fiesta Plaza. Wheelchaures also ride this , everyone can enjoy beautiful landscape.
